will report second quarter financial results prior to the open of the market on Thursday, August 9, 2001. At 11:00
AM (EDT) on Thursday, August 9, 2001, La Quinta will hold a conference call and audio web cast to discuss the financial
results and the operating strategy of the Companies. In addition, the Companies may answer one or more questions
concerning business and financial matters affecting the Companies. Some of the Companies' responses to these questions,
as well as other matters which may be discussed during the conference call, may contain or constitute information
that has not been previously disclosed.
Simultaneous with the conference call, an audio web cast of the call will be available via a link on the La Quinta
