OCEANSIDE -- The City Council is expected to approve a revised contract with developer Douglas Manchester on Wednesday
to build his downtown resort.
The mayor and council members have said they like proposed revisions to the pact, and Councilwoman Betty Harding
said they are eager to approve it before the Nov. 7 election to prevent any delays.
Council members have put in hundreds of hours on the project, Harding told the city Economic Development Commission
yesterday.
"To try to get new council people up to speed would be terribly difficult," she said.
