the second quarter of 2000.
Marriott Vacation Club International is one of the leading companies for flexible Holiday Ownership worldwide, with more than 150,000 members and an allocation of 4,100 luxury apartments in 45 resorts around the world.
The parent company of Marriott Vacation Club International, the Marriott group located at Bethesda, Maryland (USA), is a worldwide operating management company for hotels, holiday resorts and senior living services amongst others and is, with its US$ 8.7 billion turnover and 1,800 properties, one of the largest providers in the hotel and hospitality industry.
The aim of this cooperation is to reinforce and expand adequate services to target groups aged 40 and over in the travel, health and tourism sector. This cooperation sets a precedence for the complete ravamp of REFUGIUM, to create -- together with strong global partners -- a revised offer of services to people aged 40 and over which deviates from its existing offers.
