Press Release

BRECKENRIDGE, CO -- Anthony Sharp, former Executive Vice President of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, is the new owner and developer of Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge, formerly named Sunterra Resort. The project has a new plan and is moving forward at a strong pace with a proposed alliance with the Hilton Grand Vacations Club®.

"We are excited to be on a strong track and moving forward with Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge," said Sharp. "Our prime location within Breckenridge, North America's most popular ski resort, coupled with our proposed involvement with Hilton Grand Vacations Club, enables us to provide an excellent product."

Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge will feature a fractional ownership structure, with 20 shares of ownership per condominium. Each owner receives one week of ownership during the peak ski season and 10 days of ownership during the remaining calendar year.

When complete, Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge will have 71 condominium homes ranging from studios to three bedroom units. Owners will have access to all the amenities of a Hilton Grand Vacations Club Resort, including exchanges to Hilton Hotels, Hilton Grand Vacations Club Resorts and other Club offerings, such as cruises and active travel excursions.

"With respect to the interior, Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge will incorporate the history of the Town with design elements to reflect a mining theme," said Steve Lunney, general manager. "Each condominium will offer a gas fireplace, a full, gourmet kitchen and jetted tubs in each residence." Other amenities at Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge include ski storage lockers, a shared great room with a massive stone fireplace and sofas, heated pool, hot tubs and an exercise room.

The former owner of the project, Sunterra Corporation, was faced with financial difficulties and was forced to back out of the project, leaving some local contractors and architects without a project to work on. After Sharp purchased the property, he decided to re-hire the entire original team, and construction is now underway.

"We kept the same local team," said Sharp. "The ability, enthusiasm and integrity of the local team is one of our biggest assets."

Baker Hogan Houx is the architect on the project with TCD serving as the local contractor. Steve Lunney of The Odyssey Group in Breckenridge is the general manager of Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge and the local contact for information regarding the project.

Andrew Gennuso of Westpac Resort Group will head up the sales and marketing efforts for Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge. Gennuso brings more than 23 years of marketing experience to the project and previously worked for Hilton Grand Vacations Company.

"We are pleased to be associated with a developer that is committed to quality," said Marc Hogan of Baker Hogan Houx. "We feel this will be one of the finest projects in the Breckenridge area."

In addition to world-class downhill skiing, Breckenridge offers winter activities including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and sleigh rides. Summer months attract golfers to the Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole Breckenridge Golf Club. The course will be expanded to 27 holes and ready for play in Summer 2001. Other summer activities range from the wild to mild including white water rafting, horseback riding, tennis and the Alpine Super Slide on Peak 8. The Breckenridge Music Festival lasts all summer with performances by the Breckenridge Music Institute, the National Repertory Orchestra and special guest performers.

Ownership opportunities at Peaks Lodge at Breckenridge will be available in late-Summer. For more information, contact Steve Lunney at 970-453-4910.
