PARSIPPANY, NJ -- RCI Points represents the most flexible timeshare exchange system in the world, with more resorts
and exchange options than any other system. Now, RCI is adding a new level of convenience and choice to its members
through a new lineup of travel exchange options.
Timeshare owners, who are members of RCI Points, deposit their intervals in exchange for a certain quantity of
points based on a number of factors, such as, for example, the demand and quality of their interval. These points
can be exchanged for other resort intervals including full and split weeks, as well as for many other travel and
leisure services.
Highlights of the offerings include airfare on airlines such as American, stays at fine hotels including Ramada,
car rental, through Avis and other major vendors, cruises on premium lines like Carnival, as well as a variety
of golf getaways and other specialized vacation packages.
``RCI Points has been created to provide our members worldwide with a single points-based exchange system offering
the greatest possible inventory from our affiliates around the world, with better service and more value-added
features,'' said Ken May, president and CEO, RCI.
``Members worldwide have more travel options than ever before. We're currently experiencing incredible growth in
the number of members that are joining RCI Points,'' added Ben Myerson, vice president, business development, RCI.
``The rapid expansion of our travel exchange lineup reflects our commitment to serve this new membership with a
dynamic array of products and services.
``With these options in place, this is just the beginning of our exciting new offerings,'' added Myerson. ``We
expect to continuously add more offerings over the coming months, offering even more choices and options for our
members.''
