December 1, 2000
Washington, D.C. - Nearly 4,000 resort professionals and vendors from around the world are expected to attend the American Resort Development Association's (ARDA) 2001 International Resort Development Convention and Exposition, being held April 21 - 24, 2001 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

To complement the "Making Connections" theme for the 2001 Convention, ARDA is introducing a new concept that is sure to enhance the value of the Convention experience for exhibitors and attendees. The core of the concept is a "town square" approach that interlaces the exhibit space with social events, lounges, food functions and meeting space. "ARDA Town" has been designed to create an engaging atmosphere where retail, food and information functions are all conveniently located together to maximize networking, and allow attendees to manage their schedules in a more efficient and productive manner.

Whether individuals are just getting involved in the timeshare industry or they are long-time players, the Convention features
something for everyone. Over 60 state-of-the-art educational programs in sales and marketing, fractionals, vacation ownership, technology, customer service, human resources, product design, finance, property management, legal/regulatory, and many other pertinent topics will be featured.

The ARDA Exposition will showcase over 300 exhibitors displaying the latest in specialized products and services for the vacation ownership industry. The exhibits will line the streets in "ARDA Town" allowing for a dynamic experience.
