Even though Heavenly Ski Resort's $30 million Gondola is scheduled to open December 21, details concerning parking
at the Crescent V Shopping Center have yet to be finalized.
The Gondola, part of the Park Avenue Redevelopment project, was originally going to have parking in the Grand Summit
Resort Hotel when the Gondola opened, but delays have pushed back the start of construction on the hotel and parking
garage until May.
President of Heavenly Dennis Harmon said Heavenly's bus service, provided by Area Transit Management, will help
bring Gondola passengers to the site. The bus service picks up at 43 locations and will deposit passengers at a
bus loop near the gondola base station.
