COPPER MOUNTAIN, CO -- With nearly three weeks left in the1999/2000 winter season, Copper Mountain has invited
children ages 12 and under to ski or snowboard free through the resort's closing - April 23rd. In addition, adult
full-day lift ticket window prices will be discounted to $29 beginning April 10, 2000 and Copper Club members can
enjoy even greater savings by purchasing a lift ticket for only $26.
Parents may receive up to two free children's tickets per day with each adult ticket purchased. Regardless of where
the adult lift ticket is purchased however, free children's tickets must be picked up at a Copper Mountain lift
ticket sales window. This offer is not valid with any existing Copper Mountain lodging packages or ski school promotions.
"We wanted to offer an end of the season thank you to our Front Range customers," said Wenda Huseman,
Copper's marketing director. "On average, the month of April brings nearly four feet of fresh snow and plenty
of sun-filled days. This will allow Copper loyalists the opportunity to really end the season with a bang."
Front Range skiers and riders who purchase either a 2000/2001 Rocky Mountain Super Pass good at both Copper and
Winter Park, or a Copper-only season pass are also invited to ski and ride free for the remainder of the season.
The Rocky Mountain Super Pass is an unrestricted season pass currently selling for $349 for adults and $159 for
children ages 6-13. Adult skiers and riders visiting Monday through Friday can enjoy even greater savings with
a "Weekday Super Pass" for just $249. Copper loyalists also have the option to purchase a Copper-only
pass for just $249 for adults and $99 for children. The ever-popular Hooky Pass also returns next season for just
$199. All passes are on sale through April 30, 2000 and quantities are limited.
