Plans for a $60 million, five-star resort complex and retail development are afoot for the NSW tourist centre of
Nelson Bay.
A local developer, Mr Bruce Sanders, plans to build on his recently consolidated 1.2ha Stockton Road site, which
includes the Cascade Walk arcade, the Seabreeze Hotel and the Nelson Lodge Hotel.
"The development is going to be a slow-moving process," Mr Sanders said.
