Good Times Announces Licensing Agreement With Winter Park Resort

Press Release
October 16, 2000
GOLDEN, CO -- Good Times Restaurants Inc.(Nasdaq: GTIM) has announced it has entered into a licensing agreement with Winter Park Resort.

Good Times will license Winter Park to sell Good Times' products at its West Portal Station food court at the ski area's base. The agreement also provides for the option for future operations of Good Times at the Snoasis and Mary Jane facilities.

Boyd Hoback, President and CEO said: ``We are very pleased to be a part of Winter Park's branding concept. This is a terrific opportunity to get our name and our product out in front of the approximately one million skiers that visit Winter Park annually. Good Times has built its reputation on the best-tasting hamburgers and products and we fit well with their goal of having high-quality, Colorado-based companies complementing their own food and beverage services. We have very high awareness amongst front range skiers and are very optimistic about operating in a high-volume opportunity at Winter Park. The demographics of our core customer base matches up very closely to that of the front range skier.''

He added that Good Times expects to be open for this year's ski season prior to Thanksgiving and will be the 35th Good Times operation.
