MILWAUKEE, WI -- Due to the recent acquisition of MIRAGE RESORTS, Inc. by MGM Grand, Inc., Mirage Resorts Vacations
changed its name to MGM Mirage Vacations and adopted a new logo featuring the MGM lion.
The acquisition, the largest ever in the gaming industry, resulted in the addition of two new properties, New York
- New York Hotel and Casino and MGM Grand Casino Hotel, to the vacation company. ``These properties offer variety
and unique features, which allow our customers to have broader options while planning their Las Vegas experience,''
said Kimberly Erwin, private label brands marketing director for The Mark Travel Corporation.
The merger presents an exciting array of new opportunities for MGM Mirage Vacations. ``Beyond new properties, this
merger gives us the opportunity to expand our offerings to include new shows, attractions, restaurants, gaming,
