MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a world leader in business travel and expense management announced
Friday the promotion of Robin Schleien to president, Carlson Wagonlit Travel North America. In his new role, Schleien
will be responsible for Carlson Wagonlit Travel's business travel operations in the United States and Canada. He
will be based in Minneapolis, Minn. and will report to Herve Gourio, president and CEO of Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
Most recently, Schleien served as president of Carlson Wagonlit Travel Canada and as global COO for Carlson Wagonlit
Travel's Digital Business.
Since joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel in 1992, Schleien has served in a variety of roles. From 1996-1998, he successfully
led the Marketing & Business Development for Carlson Wagonlit Travel-Americas where he was responsible for
all sales and marketing efforts throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and South America, as well
as field and strategic sales. Under his leadership, the Business Development team achieved the fastest growth in
the company's history. He also served in the roles of vice president, New Product Development and Commercial Marketing-North
America and vice president, Commercial Sales, Marketing and Technology in Canada.

Before joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Schleien held executive positions with Galileo Canada, Burger King Corporation
in Miami and Canadian Pacific Limited in Toronto.
Schleien holds a master's degree in Education and Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Toronto,
and a bachelor of science degree from McGill University in Montreal.
