NEVIS, West Indies -- Four Seasons Resort Nevis welcomed its first set of guests ``back home'' at its reopening
on November 19, 2000, following a year-long renovation project. After a complete redesign and upgrade of the property's
features and services, the AAA Five-Diamond Resort now offers additional luxury services such as a ``Beach Concierge,''
who provides reading material, Discman sets, books on tape, and tanning products to guests as they lounge on Pinney's
Beach; while small touches including a selection of rare Caribbean rums served in the Library enhance the property's
colonial ambiance.
New features for leisure travelers to the Resort include two lagoon-like infinity edge pools, a new Cabana poolside
restaurant and beach bar, meandering nature and snorkeling trails, and a Bocce court under shady palm trees. Active
golfers will appreciate the immaculate, rested Robert Trent Jones II course with its improved white sand bunkers.
Returning guests will also see an improvement in service levels, with several of the Resort's managers having recently
returned from training stints at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts worldwide.
