CASSVILLE, MS -- Todd J.S. Bean has recently been named general manager at Roaring River Inn and Conference Center.
With almost ten years of experience in hotel and resort operations, Bean has held various management positions
including general manager and regional trainer. Roaring River Inn and Conference Center is located in the picturesque
southwestern Missouri Ozarks, an area well known for its spectacular trout fishing.
Delaware North Parks Services, the company responsible for providing food service and lodging operations at Roaring
River State Park is proud to bring Bean into their operations. In his position, Bean oversees the wide range of
unique programs and amenities utilized by Roaring River's visitors, including the day-to-day supervision and management
responsibilities of the park's foodservice operations, retail units and lodging facilities. Bean supervises a workforce
of more than 80 full- and part-time employees.
Prior to joining Delaware North Parks Services and Roaring River, Bean was the general manager at Shilo Inn Hotel
in Salt Lake City, Utah. Previous employers also include Shilo Inns Management Corporation, Motel 6 Lodging Corporation,
Susse Chalet Corporation, American Ski Company and Sunday River Ski Resort in Bethel, Maine.
A native of Bethel, Maine, Bean is presently enrolled in the American Hotel and Motel association's Certified Hotel
Administration program, Bean attended the University of Maine at Farmington and studied hospitality and tourism
at Oregon Coast Community College.
