LONDON -- 51 Buckingham Gate Luxury Suites & Apartments, the newly refurbished townhouse property in SW1, has
won a series of accolades from the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) within a few months of its launch.
The 82 luxury suites and apartments that opened in September 2000, following a multi-million dollar refurbishment
program, have earned the highest distinction for luxury boutique hotels from the Royal Automobile Club, the British
equivalent of the American Automobile Association.
51 Buckingham Gate Luxury Suites & Apartments will be listed as a “Five Star Townhouse” hotel in the 2001 edition
of the RAC hotel guide. This is the highest possible accreditation for small luxury properties in the UK. It has
also been awarded an RAC Blue Ribbon Award for 2001, and an RAC Dining Award, with two rosettes, for its adjacent
restaurant, Zander.
