BILOXI, MS -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) management staff participated in a recent Isle-exclusive golf tournament to raise funds and awareness for United Way of South Mississippi.

On November 1, 2000, company marketing and administrative executives as well as corporate agencies came together at the Helena Country Club Golf Course to compete in the second annual inter-company United Way tournament. Staff members from fourteen casino properties located in five states raised over $8,500.

Bernard Goldstein, chairman and chief executive officer, commented, ``Since opening our first casino in 1992, we have made giving back to our communities in which we operate a top priority. Our annual United Way tournament is just one way we can continue to provide support.''

``Although we are one of the state's largest contributors to United Way, we knew we could do more. More than 50 of our staff members gave a donation to play in this tournament, showing we care not only as a corporation, but as individuals as well. It's all part of our corporate culture,'' said John M. Gallaway, president and chief operating officer.
