Starwood Announces New Resort Hotel in Turkey

In Cesme, Turkey, the Hotel Will Open in Spring 2001

ROME, ITALY -- Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc announces its agreement with Cesme Otelcilik A.S. for the Sheraton Cesme Hotel, Resort & Spa that will open in Spring 2001.

With a stunning beach front location on the Aegean coast in the midst of the astonishing beautiful wilderness of Cesme, in Ilica, this five star resort hotel will include a King suite, 3 VIP apartments covering 250 square meters each and featuring their own swimming pool and terrace, 14 standard suites, 70 family suites and 10 deluxe suites, for a total of 391 rooms, all with private balcony.

The hotel will also have bar and restaurant facilities as well as conference and function space for up to 800 people. The significant recreational facilities will include three swimming pools (both indoor and outdoor), night club, tennis courts, cinema and bowling alley. A superb Spa, Thalassotherapy and beauty center will take full advantage of the famous thermal waters of the area.
