Company Press Release
May 25, 2000
PHILADELPHIA, PA -- The Network Connection, Inc. (Nasdaq:TNCX) has signed a contract with the Fairfield Inn of
Indianapolis, Indiana to install its InnView(TM) interactive guest entertainment and information system. The Fairfield
Inn is a member of the Marriott family of hotels and resorts.
InnView is a high-speed digital system that hotel guests access through their television set. The system includes
a wide selection of movies and music videos on demand. This means Fairfield Inn hotel guests will have complete
control over when and how they want to see the movie of their choice. For example, guests can pause, rewind, or
fast-forward a movie for convenient viewing at any time.
According to Jay Rosan, Executive Vice President of The Network Connection, ``Some companies provide Internet access,
some companies offer digital movies. With InnView, we provide all of this and more. Whether guests are traveling
for business or pleasure, our system will enable them to watch movies, check their home town sports and news, send
e-mail to family or colleagues, play interactive games, and surf the web.''
The InnView system also enables guests to easily view their room charges, complete guest surveys, take advantage
of concierge services, and conduct express check out - all by using the familiar television remote control device.
InnView provides hotels like the Fairfield Inn the benefit of giving their guests the highest level of in-room
information and entertainment services, while also realizing cost savings in administration and sharing in a variety
of revenue opportunities.
