HONOLULU, HI -- Waikiki for just $79 a night? That's right...thanks to OHANA Hotels of Hawaii. From May 1 through July 31, 2000, OHANA Hotels is offering a special $79 SimpleSaver Rate at all 15 of its Waikiki hotels.

According to Tom Burke, vice president of operations for OHANA Hotels, ``Waikiki has never been more affordable. This is a great time to experience the island of Oahu before the busy summer season begins.''

OHANA Hotels of Hawaii was recently introduced by Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Hawaii's largest hotel company. The new lodging brand emphasizes friendly, reliable service, comfortable and well-maintained hotel rooms, great rates and a simplified approach to pricing.

``Clean, simple, easy and fun -- that's our focus at OHANA Hotels,'' Burke says.

OHANA Hotels of Hawaii offers published rates that begin as low as $109, $129 or $139, per room, per night, single/double occupancy, depending on the OHANA hotel booked. A year-round $99 SimpleSaver Rate is also available at one or more OHANA hotels all year long, with the SimpleSaver Rate dropping to $89 or $79 at certain times of the year, depending on occupancy and availability.

Each of OHANA Hotels' 15 properties is located in Waikiki, many within an easy 5 to 8 minute walk to the beach. All are convenient to Waikiki's wide selection of shopping, dining and nightlife. OHANA guest rooms feature air conditioning, refrigerators, personal safes and in-room movies.

OHANA Hotels' $79 SimpleSaver Rate is per room, per night, single/double occupancy. It is subject to availability and cannot be combined with any other packages or offers. Some restrictions and black-out dates apply. The SimpleSaver Rate must be requested at the time reservations are made and is fully commissionable at 10%.
