CORAL GABLES, FL -- Hotelworks.com, Inc. (AMEX:HWS) announced yesterday that its subsidiary specializing in project-managed
procurement, The Leonard Parker Company, has been awarded the contract to provide procurement services for the
new Diplomat Resort & Country Club, in Hollywood, Florida, one of the state's most ambitious tourism-related
construction projects.
The Leonard Parker Company will be providing the procurement of all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Supplies)
and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment), which will total in excess of $39 Million for this 39-story,
1,000-room property.
Prior to its closing in 1991, and subsequent demolition, The Diplomat Resort & Country Club, was regarded as
one of South Florida's most recognizable landmarks. Located in Hollywood Beach (Hollywood, FL) on South Ocean Drive
(A1A), for decades the Resort was the site of numerous functions and convention events that impacted the local
economy.

Great Hall. Also included in the new construction; a magnificent country club equipped with yacht slips, an 18-hole
championship golf course, world-class European-style spa, fitness center, tennis club and 12 acres reserved for
retail shops, restaurants, parking and the future development of additional condominium units.
