LAS VEGAS, NV -- E.A. Collins Development announced a business alliance with the ETT-Terrible Herbst Casino Group.
Herbst will build a destination resort hotel and casino in the Pahrump Valley adjacent to the Mountain Falls Resort
Community, currently under construction by Collins.
The Herbst project includes plans for a 225-room hotel, a casino, a bowling alley and a theater complex, and plans
for a multipurpose sports center for ice skating, basketball and various other events. There are plans for a state-of-the-art
spa, an RV resort and restaurants, as well as the Herbst trademark gas station, convenience store and car wash.
``We have been involved in various business events over the past 35 years,'' said Al Collins, president of E.A.
Collins Development. ``It's natural for us to work together on this big project.''
``The Herbst-Collins relationship has been a leader in Southern Nevada development for more than 35 years, and
we continue to aggressively develop strong business opportunities,'' said Ed Herbst, vice president of ETT-Terrible
Herbst Casino Group, the third- largest gaming route in Nevada. ETT operates more than 3,700 gaming machines in
more than 130 locations.
``We are very excited about the future of Mountain Falls in Pahrump, and feel that with Al Collins' vision, we
can build the No. 1 destination resort in Pahrump,'' Herbst said.
