GRAPEVINE, TX -- AmeriSuites, America's affordable all-suite hotel chain, is proud to host a grand opening celebration
on Tuesday, March 21, 2000 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., announced General Manager Matthew Newton. ``After a very
strong opening in January, we are looking forward to celebrating with our many new friends and guests,'' said Newton.
``We are also taking this opportunity to host a benefit for the American Diabetes Association with a silent auction
from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.''
This 126-unit, six-story property located at 2220 Grapevine Mills Circle West is the chain's seventh property in
the Dallas area and 13th hotel in the state. The hotel is managed by Magnolia Lodging, a subsidiary of Suitevine
Ltd., and operated under a ten-year franchise agreement with AmeriSuites. Jay Shinn, Wayne Newton and Matthew Newton
of the Dallas area are the principal owners of the new property. The owners along with Jan Arnold, Assistant General
Manager and Renee Tilley, Director of Sales, look forward to providing first class accommodations and outstanding
service to the many travelers coming to the heart of the metroplex for business, sporting events, family entertainment,
shopping or weekend getaways.
AmeriSuites is known for comfortable accommodations with separate living and sleeping areas and a wide array of
amenities. Each guest suite features a living room with sleeper sofa, 25`` remote stereo TV, video cassette player,
expanded work desk with task lighting, two phones with voice mail messaging, an iron and ironing board, hairdryers,

The Dallas/DFW Airport North hotel offers 41 ``Taking Care of Business Suites(SM)'' with additional in-room amenities

fitness center, state-of-the-art business center and outdoor pool. In addition, 1,104 square feet of flexible meeting
space is also available.
Located within walking distance of Grapevine Mills Mall, the largest outlet mall in the state and across the street
from Bass Pro Outdoor World, it is also one of the closest hotels to the DFW Airport, conveniently located at the
airport's north entrance. It is within one mile of historic Main Street, two miles from Lake Grapevine, eight miles
from Texas Stadium and 15 miles from Six Flags/Hurricane Harbor.
