Choice Taps Industry Veteran for Emerging Brands Post

SILVER SPRING, MD -- Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH) Friday announced the appointment of Thomas F. Hall to the newly created position of vice president, emerging brands.

In his new role, Hall will be the senior executive in charge of Choice's Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites brands. Additionally, he will be integrally involved in brand strategy and positioning for all Choice brands and in ongoing exploration of brand expansions and additions.

Hall joins Choice from LaQuinta Inns, Inc., where he served as senior vice president, operations. Previously, Hall had held senior operations positions at Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. and the Promus Companies (Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn divisions) and held a number of operations and franchising positions during a fourteen year tenure at Holiday Inns, Inc.
