FAIRFIELD, NJ -- AmeriSuites, America's affordable all-suite hotel chain which recently opened its 100th property
in Peoria, IL, is giving auto racing fans a chance to win a week's vacation to attend the Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Trans Am Series Race.
As part of its ongoing sponsorship of American Spirit Racing in the BF Goodrich Tires Trans-Am Series, AmeriSuites
will award a trip for two to attend the October 29th race, including first-class, round-trip Delta Airline tickets,
accommodations at the Las Vegas AmeriSuites and other racing-related give-a-ways. Contestants may enter through
a link on the AmeriSuites website -- http://www.amerisuites.com. All entries
must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31, 2000; a random drawing will take place on or about September 1,
2000.
``AmeriSuites' Trans-Am sponsorship has proven to be a great method of raising awareness for our growing brand,
thanks in part to the ever-rising popularity of auto racing, and the enhanced television coverage,'' noted Brand
Manager John Leavitt. ``This contest will help generate exposure to our web site and create excitement about our
sponsorship.''
In AmeriSuites' inaugural 1999 sponsorship season, American Spirit Racing's #12 Ford Mustang led the championship
for several races and finished fourth overall out of a field of 38. Driver Michael Lewis won numerous Trans-Am
Fast Five qualifying awards and put together a string of top three finishes.
The Trans-Am series consists of 14 racing events across the nation during the year, from March through October.
