ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta-based Jameson Inns, Inc. (Nasdaq: JAMS), owner of Jameson Inn and Signature Inn hotels,
has opened Tennessee's eighth Jameson Inn at 1292 Vann Drive near the I-20, exit 80 interchange in northwestern
Jackson, Tennessee. There are currently Jameson Inns in Cleveland, Decherd, Gallatin, Greeneville, Johnson City,
Oak Ridge, and Tullahoma.
``We are excited about the expansion in Tennessee as we continue our contiguous growth out from the Southeast,''
stated Tom Kitchin, CEO. ``We currently have three additional locations under construction in Alcoa, Columbia,
and Kingsport scheduled to open later on this year.''
The property features three stories with 68 guestrooms and is situated on 1.7 acres of land. Amenities include,
a boardroom, pool and fitness center as well as upgraded amenities unique to Jameson's new interior-corridor design:
free expanded continental breakfast, larger work stations, irons, two phone lines and voicemail, premium rooms
with in-room coffee maker, recliner, microwave and refrigerator, and free newspapers, local calls and HBO.
