Bruce Rosenberg has Been Promoted to Senior Vice President - E-Business and Distribution for Hilton Hotels Corporation

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- Bruce Rosenberg has been promoted to senior vice president - e-business and distribution for Hilton Hotels Corporation.

He reports to Robert E. Dirks, senior vice president - sales & marketing for the company. Rosenberg most recently served as vice president - marketing distribution, a position held since 1995. In his new position, Rosenberg will develop strategies for marketing distribution and e-business, and manage programs that support the entire family of Hilton lodging brands. He will also oversee all electronic, GDS, Internet and travel agent distribution channels for all brands.

Rosenberg joined Hilton in 1990 as director - travel agency marketing, and became director - marketing distribution in 1994. He began his career in the marketing department of Eastern Airlines in 1984, and eventually became national account manager with Continental and Eastern Airlines. In 1989, he joined a major lodging company before being named vice president - sales and marketing of General Rent-A-Car's western region later that year. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Rosenberg earned an EMBA from Anna Maria College.
