Windsor Hospitality Group Names General Manager At Renaissance Hotel -- Asheville, N.C.

LOS ANGELES & ASHEVILLE, NC -- Los Angeles-based Windsor Hospitality Group, a division of Windsor Capital Group, has named Herman Turk General Manager of the 282-deluxe room and suite Renaissance Hotel -- Asheville, N.C.

As general manager, Turk is responsible for the overall operation of the newly renovated hotel located in the heart of historic downtown Asheville and adjacent to the Thomas Wolfe Memorial. ``Throughout his more than 19 years in the hotel industry, Herman has significantly contributed to the success of the properties where he has worked,'' said Mike Cryan, President and Chief Operating Officer of Windsor Capital Group. ``We are looking to Herman to continue that trend at the Asheville property.''

Prior to joining the Renaissance Hotel -- Asheville, N.C., Turk served as General Manager at the Chattanooga Marriott in Chattanooga, Tenn., as well as at the Roanoke Marriott in Roanoke, Va. He also has served as the Director of Rooms and Conference Services at the Lansdowne Conference Resort in Washington, D.C., and the Resident Manager/Food and Beverage Director at the Roanoke Marriott in Roanoke, Va.

Turk has served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of the Roanoke Valley, the March of Dimes of Southwest Virginia and the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau. In addition, he has been involved with the Chattanooga and Tennesssee Hotel and Motel Associations and has participated on the business advisory councils of Chattanooga State University and James Madison University HTM.
