BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE:HLT) has been recognized as the e-business winner in the travel
and hospitality industries category by Internet Week magazine, as a result of the magazine's first annual Internet
Week 100.
The Internet Week 100, based on a performance-focused questionnaire of major U.S. companies conducted in March
and April by InternetWeek Magazine and Benchmarking Partners, identified the leading e-businesses in 10 major industry
sectors.
Announced in the June 12, 2000 issue of this leading Internet commerce magazine, Hilton Hotels Corporation also
was one of only two hotel companies to make the Internet Week 100 list. The companies were evaluated in several
critical areas, including improved relationships with customers and suppliers, and the extent of involvement in
electronic marketplaces.

Hilton's Internet services for guests and customers include a state-of-the-art computerized reservations system,
which links directly to the company's award winning corporate Website at www.hilton.com; high-speed Internet access
for wired laptop travelers in guest and meeting rooms at approximately 125 hotels throughout North America; and
other high-speed Internet access solutions through guest room televisions and kiosks in public areas of participating
hotels.
From a business-to-business perspective, Hilton is proud of its achievements in taking its current Web-enabled,
electronic procurement program to the next level. The company announced earlier this month its intent to establish
a proprietary hospitality procurement network for Hilton's family of branded hotels and to establish the industry's
largest purchasing exchange. The network is expected to launch in early summer 2000 and be deployed by year-end
2000, and will be available to the company's system of hotels in North America.
