YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA -- The Yosemite Lodge, located in Yosemite National Park, is offering two mid-week winter
packages that include two nights lodging, dinner and related amentites at an exceptional value.
The ``Stay and Play'' package, valid Sundays-Thursdays through March 30 (excluding the Presidents' Week holiday
period of February 18-26), includes a two-night stay (double occupancy) in a Yosemite Lodge hotel room, dinner
for two at the Lodge's Mountain Room restaurant plus an ice skating session and skate rentals for two people at
Yosemite's renowned outdoor skating rink. The two-night package costs $198 (not including tax).
The ``Winter Romance'' package, also valid Sundays-Thursdays through March 30 (excluding the Presidents' Week holiday
period of February 18-26), includes a two-night stay (double occupancy) in a Yosemite Lodge hotel room, dinner
for two at the Lodge's Mountain Room restaurant plus champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. Cost for the
Winter Romance Package is $190 (not including tax).
Located in the heart of Yosemite Valley, the Yosemite Lodge features modern motel-type rooms with private bath,
telephone, balconies or patios and daily maid service. The Lodge's Mountain Room restaurant is well known for its
varied menu and scenic, mountain ambiance. As part of the ``Stay & Play'' or ``Winter Romance'' packages, guests
will enjoy dinner for two including choice of soup or salad, entree from the dinner menu of broiled steaks, seafood,
chops, poultry and pasta dishes and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Yosemite boasts a myriad of recreational activities for its winter guests, including: scenic sightseeing bus tours;
shopping; evening naturalist programs, bicycle rentals (weather permitting), hiking, ranger-naturalist led walks
and free daily camera walks conducted by expert local photographers.
Yosemite's Badger Pass ski area, accessible via free shuttle bus from the Yosemite Lodge, offers downhill and cross-country
skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing activities. As an added value, Yosemite Lodge package guests can purchase
two adult all-day Badger Pass lift tickets for just $20 (regular price $50).
