CHICAGO, IL -- Barry J. Cregan, 45, was named yesterday as Area Managing Director of Westin Hotels in Chicago for
Starwood Hotels and Resorts. His responsibilities will include management of the Westin Michigan Avenue, the Westin
O'Hare, and the Westin River North hotels.

Cregan said.
Cregan comes to Starwood from the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He served as President
and Chief Operating Officer at the Trump Plaza for four years, during which time the hotel received a Five Star
Diamond rating from The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences. Before his tenure in Atlantic City, Cregan was
the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Prior to his work at The Plaza, he was with the Hilton and Hyatt organizations, including serving as Executive
Assistant Manager of the Hyatt Regency Chicago and as the Regional Food and Beverage Director for Hyatt in Chicago.
