ORLANDO, FL -- AmeriSuites -- America's affordable all-suite hotel chain -- has opened its fifth Orlando area hotel
here, announced General Manager Tim Tonkovich. The hotel, located at 4991 Calypso Cay Way, represents the 13th
AmeriSuites in the state.
The six story, 151 unit hotel is part of the quickly growing AmeriSuites chain, which is known for comfortable
accommodations with separate living and sleeping areas and a wide array of amenities. Each guest suite features
a living room with sleeper sofa or overstuffed chair, 26`` remote stereo TV, video cassette player, expanded work
desk with task lighting, high speed Internet access, two phones with voice mail messaging, an iron and ironing
board, hairdryers, kitchen/wet bar area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and free coffee. The Orlando/Buena
Vista hotel has 123 non-smoking suites and seven handicapped accessible suites.
The hotel also offers 34 ``Taking Care of Business Suites'' with additional in-room amenities for the corporate
traveler including a plush overstuffed chair and ottoman, second phone line with data port, executive chair, basic
office supplies and snacks. Other amenities include complimentary bountiful breakfast buffet, laundry facilities,
fitness center and a heated outdoor pool. In addition, 925 square feet of flexible meeting space is also available.
A manager's reception will be held every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with complimentary refreshments.
With the opening of the Orlando/Lake Buena Vista South hotel, there are presently 134 AmeriSuites system wide.
The property is owned by Epoch Properties, Inc. and is managed by Lane Hospitality. The property is also under
a 10 year AmeriSuites franchise agreement.

The hotel is located 10 miles from Wet & Wild and Universal Orlando and its Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure®
and City Walk. The hotel is also within three miles of Disney World, EPCOT, MGM Studios, Pleasure Island, Downtown
Orlando and Sea World. The property is offering special introductory rate of $76.00 through February 9, 2001 based
