MEMPHIS, TN -- Hilton Hotels Corporation announced yesterday the opening of its 284-suite Columbus-Dublin Embassy
Suites Hotel in Ohio. The facility, owned and operated by Commonwealth Hotels., Inc., is the rapidly growing hotel
all-suite brands' fifth hotel to open statewide and its second within the Columbus area.
``The Columbus-Dublin Embassy Suites Hotel® will appeal to both business and leisure travelers,'' said Mark
Snyder, senior vice president, brand management for Embassy Suites. ``The all-suite concept provides today's road
warrior with more space to work and relax. It also is ideal for families visiting Columbus/Dublin and the many
attractions nearby.''
``With 12,800 square feet, we have ideal meeting space for small- to mid-sized groups of 10 to 400 people either
as stand-alone sessions or part of larger conventions,'' said Patrice Worcester, property general manager. ``Our
two-room suites offer special features for both business travelers and vacationers to the greater Columbus area.''
Located at 5100 Upper Metro Place in Dublin, the eight-story property is located near the Columbus Zoo, Wyandot
Lake, Muirfield Country Club and numerous corporate headquarters. Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, state-of-the-art
exercise room, whirlpool and 12,800 square feet of meeting space. Each of the property's two-room suites features
a separate living area, private bedroom and wet bar with refrigerator and microwave oven. Guests enjoy a free,
cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a two-hour manager's reception every evening.
