ROSLYN, Wash., Oct 17 (Reuters) - Trendwest Resorts Inc. (NasdaqNM:TWRI), a resort developer, said on Tuesday
that it expects third quarter earnings per share ranging between 66 and 69 cents, beating the year-ago period's
52 cents.
The company expects to release a complete report on quarterly earnings on Oct. 26.
Trendwest also said it received approval from Kittitas County Commissioners for a land use application for its
planned 6,200-acre resort near Roslyn and Cle Elum, Wash. in the foothills of the eastern Cascade Mountains.
Trendwest is planning up to 4,650 dwelling units at the site, including a lodge, condominiums, cabins and vacation
homes. Facilities will include two golf courses, horseback riding, bicycle and hiking trails and other recreation
facilities.
