Corporation shareholders, that Canada Payphone Corporation has signed an agreement with HFS Purchasing Services
Canada, the exclusive Canadian purchasing service for Howard Johnson Hotels, Ramada Hotels, Villager Lodge extended
stay lodging, Knights Inn Motels and Aston Hotels and Resorts and a supplier of approved products and services
for the Days Inn, Super 8 Motels and Parks Inn International.
Under this agreement Canada Payphone Corporation will offer its products and services to over 2700 hotel, motel
and resort locations across Canada. ``This is an important agreement for Canada Payphone Corporation. It ensures
that the Company has every opportunity to expand into the hospitality market on a national scale,'' said Bruce
Clark, President and CEO of Canada Payphone Corporation.
This agreement is in step with Canada Payphone Corporation's recent corporate update in which the Company announced
its intentions to create further alliances and partnerships with leaders in the Canadian hospitality industry.
HFS Purchasing Services Canada, is the exclusive purchasing service for Howard Johnson Hotels, Ramada Hotels, Villager
Lodge extended stay lodging, Knights Inn Motels and Aston Hotels & Resorts in Canada and HFS Purchasing Services
Canada is a supplier of approved products and services for the Days Inn, Super 8 Motels and Parks Inns International
franchised lodging systems in Canada, the authorized purchasing service for the Ontario Hotel and Motel Association,
the Alberta Hotel Association, the Manitoba Hotel Association, the Hotels Association of Saskatchewan, and an authorized
purchasing service for the British Columbia and Yukon Hotels' Association.
