MeriStar Hospitality and MeriStar Hotels & Resorts to Hold Annual Investor and Analyst Presentations on December 4

WASHINGTON, DC -- MeriStar Hospitality Corporation (NYSE: MHX ), the nation's third largest hotel real estate investment trust (REIT) and MeriStar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: MMH), the nation's largest independent hotel management company, today announced that the companies will hold on Monday, December 4, their annual investor and analyst meetings to outline their respective plans and strategies for 2001. Real-time access to both presentations will be available to shareholders and other interested parties via webcast or telephone.

MeriStar Hotels & Resorts' presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Paul Whetsell and Chief Investment Officer John Emery. Following the MMH presentation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, an international business services organization, will provide a U.S. lodging industry briefing at 3:00 p.m. ET, including an analysis of select MeriStar markets. MeriStar Hospitality's presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Paul Whetsell and Chief Operating Officer John Emery.
