UnderSea Resort to Participate in Sustainable Design Competition for New Orleans Chair by Brad Pitt

Press Release: Cala Corporation
May 31, 2006
NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Cala Corporation dba UnderSea Resort www.UnderSeaResort.com trading under the symbol of CCAA is preparing to enter the "Sustainable Design Competition for New Orleans - Advancing the Green Rebuilding of New Orleans," a competition sponsored by Global Green USA and Jury Chair Brad Pitt. The competition is presented as combining Global Green USA's commitment to green affordable housing, sustainable cities, and climate solutions that work for communities, with Brad Pitt's passion for intelligent architecture. Global Green began working on a sustainable rebuilding initiative for New Orleans and the Gulf Coast just days after the landfall of Hurricane Katrina; the competition is part of this effort.

The company feels that Global Green's stated goal that the rebuilding of this area be characterized by such things as environmentally and climactically appropriate design, materials and strategies, and clean energy, are totally in keeping with the concept of the UnderSea. The UnderSea is not only environmentally sound, but zero-emission. Rather than damage the environment, it exists in harmony with its surroundings, and promotes a respect for sea life. Its presence would attract visitors, which would benefit the local economy. Further, at such time as another disaster threatens the area, the UnderSea will be capable of moving under its own power out of harm's way, saving lives and resources. Regardless of the outcome, the company looks forward to its participation in this competition, for the good of the Gulf Coast community.
