CELEBRATION, FL -- The Celebration, Florida based company, Hayes Reid Development Group Inc., is announcing the
opening of The Palms Hotel by Lexington. This opening represents the second phase as well as the hotel component
of The Palms Hotel and Villas, a condo hotel resort community in the Orlando-Disney area.
The Palms Hotel by Lexington adds an additional 160 accommodations and was formerly a three-star Hilton Hampton
Inn. The property completed a $2.5 million renovation last year and provides guests a fresh, boutique atmosphere.
The rooms offer mini fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, in-room safes, irons and ironing boards and in-room internet
access. The Palms Hotel by Lexington is the second of three phases that will complete The Palms Hotel and Villas
being developed by Hayes Reid.
The Palms Hotel and Villas is a 320-unit property located at 3100 Parkway Blvd. and 3104 Parkway Blvd., in Kissimmee.
The Palms Hotel and Villas, a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, is only 1.5 miles from the entrance to the
Walt Disney World resort area and now offers these newly renovated standard hotel rooms as well as two-room suites
with fully-equipped kitchens. Among its many amenities, the Palms also offers its guests three pools, a Jacuzzi,
an exercise room, two sports courts and a daily complimentary continental breakfast.
The Palms Hotel and Villas is managed on a daily basis by Hotel Condo Services LLC, a leading management company
that specializes in the transition of hotels to condo hotels.
“We have had a successful year operating as The Palms Hotel and Villas Phase I, so the addition of 160 more rooms
is very exciting,” said Mark Manring, Director of Operations for Hotel Condo Services. “This conversion allows
our property to offer several room type options for the diverse needs of our guests.”
The Palms Hotel and Villas is a premier member of the Lexington Collection by Vantage. The Lexington Collection
is an upscale, all-suite brand from Vantage Hospitality Group Inc., which also has Americas Best Value Inn, the
fastest growing hotel chain in America. Other Lexington properties in the area include the Lexington at Orlando
City Place in downtown Orlando and the Lexington Hotel at Indian Harbour Beach.
The third and final phase of the Palms Hotel and Villas will offer newly-built suites, with the construction to
begin within the next 60-90 days. The addition will consist of two separate buildings housing 72, two-bedroom
suites. This third phase will complete the 11 building Palms Hotel and Villas resort community.
