Nancy Sanders Retires from Island One Resorts

John Montgomery joins the company as vp human resources

ORLANDO, FL -- Nancy Sanders, senior vice president of human resources for Island One Resorts, has retired after 16 years of dedicated service. John Montgomery has been named vice president human resources.

Sanders has been an integral element in Island One Resorts' growth in Central Florida and throughout Florida. She was always committed to maintaining a solid infrastructure and positive work environment for the company's over 1,000 employees. Her initiatives have played a major role in the company being named to the Orlando Sentinel's Top 100 Companies for Working Families list since 2002. "I am so proud of the company's growth as well as the individuals I have helped mentor over my career. Island One Resorts has an incredible team in place, and it will continue on its path to even greater prosperity," Sanders said.

John Montgomery, as newly-appointed vice president human resources, has taken over the human resources leadership role. He has over 15 years experience in the field, holding HR leadership positions with companies including Harlan Sprague Dawley, Inc., Liebhardt Mills and Rally's Hamburgers.
