CHAPEL HILL, NC -- Divi Resorts is pleased to announce that Mr. Lou Roelofsen of Aruba has been named General Manager
of the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten, effective April 3, 2006.
Mr. Roelofsen, who has delighted guests at both luxury and bungalow resorts, brings an extensive background in
Caribbean hotel and restaurant operations to Divi Little Bay and looks forward to enhancing the resort’s food and
beverage outlets, including the beachside Toucans Café and poolside Seabreeze Restaurant. Mr. Roelofsen
is enthused by the opportunity to further develop the resort’s distinctive amenities and activities, especially
the watercrafts and water sports center.
Mr. Roelofsen is a Certified Hotel Administrator and is currently a Director of the Aruba Hospitality and Security
Foundation. He is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry and has served previously as the President of
the Curacao Hotel and Tourism Association and as Regional Vice President of the Caribbean Hotel Association.
