KAHULUI, HI -- Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. (AMEX:MLP) announced March 17 that it has appointed Robert
I. Webber as its Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development, effective April 24,
2006. Mr. Webber will report to David C. Cole, ML&P Chairman, President and CEO.
Mr. Webber has extensive experience in corporate finance, business development, strategy and marketing. He most
recently served as President of DynTek, Inc., a leading provider of professional technology services, IT network
infrastructure and security software and hardware, where he previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Director.
"Rob brings extensive and highly relevant experience to our Company at a critical stage in our turnaround,"
said Mr. Cole. "He is highly qualified to take on the responsibilities of our Chief Financial Officer as well
as leading our Company's business development initiatives."
Mr. Webber received his J.D. degree from Columbia Law School and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He will
assume the position previously held by Fred W. Rickert, who will now serve as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer
for ML&P. Mr. Rickert is responsible for the integration of all corporate finance and treasury functions, including
compliance, risk and cash management and information technology. He joined Maui Pineapple Company, Ltd. as its
Vice President/ Finance in April 2004 and was promoted to Vice President/ Chief Financial Officer of ML&P in
September of 2004.
"Fred is extremely accomplished in the areas of management reporting, risk management and financial controls,"
said Mr. Cole. "He has been instrumental in leading our Sarbanes Oxley compliance efforts and will continue
to administer our risk management and management reporting programs in his new role."
