TimeShareWare Honored as One Of Fastest Growing Companies in Utah

Press Release: TimeShareWare
October 31, 2005
SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- TimeShareWare was honored as one of the fastest growing companies in the state of Utah in a special luncheon attended by Jon M. Huntsman, Jr., Governor of Utah. Entitled “Harnessing the Power,” this year’s event marked the 11th anniversary of the MountainWest Venture Group’s Utah 100 Fastest-Growing Companies Awards Ceremony at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. TimeShareWare competed with over 11,000 applicants to land the number 62 spot on this prestigious list.

TimeShareWare is the fastest-growing technology company in the hospitality industry. Dedicated to serving the needs of the vacation ownership industry, the company’s software has been installed more than 500 times at resort clients in Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, India, Mexico, and the United States.

Timo Jones, President and CEO of TimeShareWare, says that this achievement becomes more difficult each year because of the nature of the awards program. “For us to maintain ‘Fastest-Growing Company’ status for six years is a significant accomplishment -- of the 100 winners, only a handful are repeat winners. Even more impressive is the fact that we have always been profitable. To be a fast growing, profitable company without debt speaks to the expertise of our staff and the excellence of our clients.”

The Utah 100 companies represent a broad cross-section from many industries in Utah, including information technology, bio-medical and bio-technical, health care, retail, construction, and financial services. To be eligible for consideration in the Utah 100, a company must be Utah-based, a U.S. organization, have reported a minimum of $50,000 in revenue in the base year (2000), and have five years of operating history.

The Utah 100 List recognizes companies for their significant contribution to the state and its expanding economy. It is also an opportunity for Utah’s business community to join in honoring these successful companies, entrepreneurs, and business leaders as well as network, share ideas, and promote business in Utah.
