Interval International Names Madeline Berges Director - Online and Communications

MIAMI, FL -- Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, announced the promotion of Madeline Berges to director - online and communications. She reports to Sharon Freed, senior vice president of consumer marketing for Interval International.

In this capacity, Berges will maintain full responsibility for the worldwide development and day-to-day operations of the IntervalWorld.com Web site and all online marketing initiatives. She will now assume a more strategic focus for this channel to support its continued evolution in order to maximize revenue. Additionally, Berges will oversee the expansion of consumer marketing's communication strategies, including channel management approaches (online vs. offline), segmentation, e-newsletters, customer experience, as well as brand management.

"Madeline has played a leadership role within the organization and has made significant contributions in the transformation and growth of our online channels," said Freed. "Her experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow our e-commerce business and strengthen our communication strategies."

Berges has held several positions of increasing responsibility since she joined Interval in 2001, including business development manager in the resort sales and service department, and most recently, senior manager in charge of all consumer online marketing efforts.

Previously, Berges was manager of onboard sales and consumer research for Cunard Line Limited where she supervised the "Sales at Sea" program and played a leading role in Cunard's e-marketing initiatives and enhanced the cruise line's Internet presence.
