Intelligent Engineering invented the Sandwich Plate System (SPS) and it has been utilized in various projects in shipbuilding, bridge and offshore construction. During this time SPS has gained the attention of the major shipbuilding Classification Societies of the world and Lloyds Register (www.lr.org) is in the process of publishing draft rules for the new construction of ships.
