Press Release: CMI
December 13, 2005
ORLANDO, FL -- Joel Lazar, president and chief operating officer of Orlando-based CMI, spoke alongside fellow leading
real estate and business experts, including Donald Trump Jr., at the Information Management Network's (IMN) "Symposium
on Financing, Developing & Operating Condo Hotels". The symposium was held Dec. 6-7 at the Mandalay Bay
Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
At the conference, Lazar drew on his 20 years of real estate industry experience to explain why condo-hotel projects
often fail. Approximately 1,000 developers, property owners and service providers from the real estate industry
attended the event, held to address current issues of debate in the condo-hotel industry.
Attending and presenting at the event were executives from major industry players such as the American Skiing Company,
Bayrock Group, Canyon Ranch, The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino, Dezer Development, Falor Companies, Ian Schrager
Hotels, The Kessler Collection, LaCosta Development Corporation, Lubert Adler, Noble Development, Marcus Hotels
and Shamrock Holdings. In addition, symposium sponsors encompassed more than 35 hotel brands, financiers, law
firms and other service providers, including Carlton Group, Greenberg Traurig, Condo Hotel Center, MC2 Consultants
and Centerpoint.
