Le Blanc Spa Resort is the former Hotel Sierra Cancún, which was acquired by Palace Resorts and closed on
August 29, 2004 for a complete renovation. Palace then transformed all of the 260 guest rooms into luxury suites,
most with ocean views and all with double Jacuzzis, and added a state-of-the-art 29,000 square-foot spa, over 10,000
square feet of modern meeting facilities, and four specialty restaurants that feature cuisine from around the world.
The renovations were directed by Elias & Elias Arquitectos, one of the most celebrated architect and interior
design firms in Mexico.
