LOS ANGELES, CA -- Strata Development Group, LLC. (“SDG”), a real estate development and investment company based
in Los Angeles, Oct. 22 announced its New Zealand subsidiary, Strata Development Group NZ Limited, has purchased
10 adjoining lots at the exclusive Jacks Point resort in Queenstown, New Zealand for an undisclosed sum.
SDG specializes in high-end, ultra-luxurious residential and hotel developments in select international locations.
“The Sanctuary, Jacks Point” will feature spacious and luxurious apartment homes designed to capture Jacks Point’s
dramatic panorama. Potentially worth in excess of $1 billon on completion, Jacks Point will include a championship
golf course, private residential estate, luxury hotel, vineyards and wine production facilities, equestrian center,
marina, residents club, and a resort village. Less than five percent of the 1000 acre location will be used for
residential development.
“This acquisition is a fundamental step in our investment strategy” says SDG Chief Executive Officer Jason M. Neal,
a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 15 years real estate experience in New Zealand and the United States. “Jacks
Point is a very unique location which compliments our focus on high-end developments”.
Ten minutes drive from Queenstown, New Zealand – appropriately known as “the adventure capital of the world”, Jacks
Point is situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by some of the world’s most magnificent mountain
scenery.
“The site features uninterrupted 360 degree views that are nothing less than breathtaking” says Neal. “Jacks Point
is an unrivaled location for golf enthusiasts and those seeking a tranquil lifestyle”.
SDG is already underway with the design of its first New Zealand development. With an emphasis on privacy and security,
the brief includes media rooms and wine cellars, fitness and spa facilities, a vanishing edge pool, subterranean
parking, and an expansive atrium overlooking the championship golf course.
