Gatlinburg Resort Affiliates With RCI

Crown Park Resort inks six-year affiliation agreement

PARSIPPANY, NJ -- RCI, the global leader in vacation exchange, announced yesterday that it has signed a new affiliation agreement with the Crown Park Resort, a 330-villa timeshare community in downtown Gatlinburg, Tenn., which will add the resort to RCI's worldwide network.

This past summer, developer Burroughs & Chapin Company began phase one sales efforts on the 5.5-acre site on what is planned to be a three-phase project that will produce a total of 174 two-bedroom villas and 156 one-bedroom villas when completed. Phase one will include 58 two-bedroom villas and 50 one-bedroom villas. On-site amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, spa and fitness center, an owner's lounge, a Kids Club and Internet Café.

Through the affiliation agreement, RCI will support the Crown Park Resort with a customized suite of products including RCI® Points, through which Crown Park vacation owners will enjoy quality exchange vacations at RCI affiliated resorts worldwide. Other programs include RCI Activities, a sales and marketing program designed to drive sales tours and enhance the resort's presence on RCI's online directory; RCI Bonus Points, a customer sales incentive program; and RCI Elite Rewards® MasterCard, an instant credit card and customer loyalty program offering consumers who qualify the ability to earn points redeemable for travel goods and services.
