Tampa Bay Real Estate Council Launches Online Resource to Provide Local Real Estate Information

Site Features the Region's Most Comprehensive Collection of Real Estate Data

TAMPA, FL -- The Bay Area Real Estate Council (BAREC), a member organization comprised of local real estate attorneys, announced yesterday the launch of a new online resource for consumers and real estate professionals, BAREC.com, featuring:

• A Real Estate Index comprised of county-specific real estate data and analysis
• Recent local real estate news and articles
• A comprehensive list of local real estate attorneys
• Upcoming real estate events, such as homebuyer seminars
• Pertinent market information, including school districts, government listings and local real estate associations

The new site fills an important void for consumers as well as real estate professionals in the Bay Area. It will not only provide detailed real estate information for Pinellas, Polk, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando counties, but BAREC.com will also be updated on a monthly basis to provide consumers and real estate professionals the most recent Bay Area real estate market coverage available.

"This site will serve as a comprehensive resource for consumers and real estate professionals seeking critical, informative data that will enable them to make more educated decisions in the real estate process," said BAREC President Michael Mirrington.

To provide consumers and real estate professionals with market-specific, in-depth information, BAREC.com includes a proprietary Real Estate Index, which features the state's most comprehensive collection of land title deed data, provided by Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund (The Fund), combined with expert analysis by Florida's leading real estate economist, Dr. Henry Fishkind, president of Fishkind & Associates. The Real Estate Index is the only tool of its kind reporting on trends in real estate sales value and volume for single-family homes, condominiums, and timeshares. This new measurement tool is designed to provide unprecedented insight and analysis into the Bay Area real estate market.
