RCI Announces Organizational Changes to its North America Global Business Group

PARSIPPANY, NJ -- RCI, the global leader in vacation property exchange, announced a series of organizational changes to its North America Global Business Group. The organizational changes are designed to reallocate client-servicing staff closer to client locations.

David Bansmer has been named Vice President, Business Development, responsible for leading RCI initiatives to attract new entrants to the vacation ownership industry. Bansmer joins RCI from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts where he served as Director responsible for marketing and sales programs. Prior to this, Bansmer assisted in building the framework for the fractional ownership division of Starwood Vacation Ownership, Inc. He will be based in Orlando, Fla.

Bansmer succeeds Robert Minnigan, who has been appointed Vice President of RCI's Southeast Region, based in Orlando, Fla. Robert's key responsibilities will be the growth of business in the region and development of programs to help existing affiliated resorts enhance and expand their business, as well as overseeing RCI's client service team serving resort developers, property management companies, homeowners associations and hospitality clients in the key Southeastern states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.

In this role, Robert succeeds Kris Jamtaas, who has been appointed Vice President of RCI's West Region. Kris will be based in Scottsdale, Ariz., establishing a new RCI office within one of the fastest-growing timeshare destinations in the U.S. RCI clients throughout the West region in other areas will continue to be served by RCI Global Business Group staff locally in Las Vegas, Nev., and Vancouver, B.C., as well as the RCI West regional office in Carlsbad, Calif. Both Robert and Kris will be responsible for new business development within their respective regions.

All three executives will report to Dave Pontius, president, RCI North America.
