Classic Holidays and Dial An Exchange Pty Ltd Creat Joint Venture Partnership

Press Release: Classic Holidays and Dial An Exchange Pty Ltd
July 2, 2004
QUEENSLAND, Australia -- Classic Holidays and Dial An Exchange Pty Ltd have finalised agreements to create a Joint Venture partnership to own and operate the Dial An Exchange brand name in Australia, New Zealand and share in the joint venture company Donita's Dial An Exchange in the USA.

Established in 1978, Classic Holidays is the largest privately owned timeshare resort management company in Australia. The company represents some 25,000 Timeshare owners and 12 resorts/clubs in Australia's premier holiday destinations. The high standard set by the professional team at Classic Holidays, coupled with centralised reservations, bookkeeping and other support services, ensures resort members benefit from cost savings and increased value.

Dial An Exchange is considered one of Asia Pacific's largest independent exchange organisations, and is recognised as a market leader in providing personal service in the holiday exchange business. Dial An Exchange has carved out a niche market by specialising in customer service, attention to detail, and helping Timeshare owners successfully exchange their time. By being consistent in their approach in helping Timeshare owners, Dial An Exchange has been able to extend their service and the number of destinations offered to the timeshare community, and now operates from offices located in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA (Donita's Dial An Exchange) with a combined membership base of over 100,000 registered Timeshare owners.

The synergy resulting from this cooperative alliance will generate mutually beneficial business opportunities for both organisations. The new entity brings together a complementary range of operating and management skills, backed by a strong Timeshare industry perspective, to maintain high service standards in a demanding industry. The operational benefits arising from this new business model will enable the new group to be a more competitive provider within the Asia Pacific Timeshare forum. Additionally, and most importantly from a consumer's viewpoint, the members represented by both organisations will benefit from this transaction.

Through this joint venture, both companies feel the relationship with industry partners will be enhanced through the common vision of industry participation and the ability for Timeshare owners to gain greater access to high demand destination exchange space.
